Responsibilities / Capabilities:
- Develop, implement, and communicate standardized approaches, methodologies, and tools for project management activities across the organization.
- Guide various departments appropriately using project management methodologies, tools, and risk avoidance.
- Track budget, time, and quality against plans and agreements for all GPC’s projects.
- Conducted project quality assurance to improve project delivery performance and documented lessons learned to be considered in future projects.
- Conducted project closure activities and established metrics and reports to measure post-project implementation benefits and impact.
- Archive all project learnings and incorporate/share these learnings in a knowledge management database.
- Engage, manage, and provide oversight on the cross-functional projects assigned by the CEO.
- Manage, integrate, and monitor the project(s) based on PMO methodologies.
- Develop the project complementary activities and release the project documents/templates using the PMO systems (methodology & tools).
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience/At least six years of experience in PMO, with expertise in the financial industry in the Banking industry, and payment systems.
Education and Certifications/Master's or bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience in Project Management.
Essential Skills:
- Preferred to have PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
- Preferred to have Project Management Training or Academic Courses.
- Understanding the functioning of PMO systems, organization of business processes, and reasoning from a legal and economic point of view.
- Good skills in coordinating all project management activities, including documentation, version control, and quality assurance of project activities.
- Good analytical skills to transfer conceptual documents into tangible operational documentation.
- Good communication skills, project presentation, and an advanced command of English.
- Understanding of IT/payment systems projects management and change management processes.
- Understanding back-up/restore concepts in payment systems.
