JOB PROFILE/MISSION:
A Technical Support Specialist is responsible for conducting concrete structure alignment tests and recommending appropriate types of concrete, responding to customer queries, ready mix, and concrete, in a timely and accurate way, via site visits, identifying customer needs and help customers use specific features, analyzing and report product malfunctions, and development of tools necessary for the implementation of product improvement.
BRIEF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/
DUTIES:
- Respond to customer queries, ready mix, and concrete, in a timely and accurate way, via site visits.
- Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features.
- Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users).
- Responsible for development of tools necessary for the implementation of product improvement
- Responsible for the process design, operation and implementation in order to improve products specifications that will lead to reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability
- Ensure that the developed products meet the quality specifications.
- Contribute to customer orientation culture and satisfaction
- Conduct production process studies and audits which he deems necessary or which are requested by the his manager according to commercial department request, with the possible assistance from process engineer
- Building long-term relationships with the clients’ technical team and performing a periodical visit.
REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR THE POSITION:
- Education: BSc certificate in chemistry, chemical engineering, or civil engineering.
- Minimum 10 years working in concrete and ready mix / Cement and Concrete Quality/ Concrete mix design
- Knowledge of safety and environment regulations
- Good knowledge of statistical process control methods and experimental design.
- Collecting and analyzing data/ Analytical

- Obtaining and giving feedback
- Ability to balance between field and office work.
- Knowledge of MS office
- English (reading / good, speaking / good, and writing / good)
- Excellent knowledge of concrete/ cement types and products
- Good knowledge of cement/ concrete products quality parameters and of quality control tests
- Understanding how to troubleshoot issues related to concrete is crucial. This could include knowledge of setting times for different types of concrete, and familiarity with necessary tools and tests.
- Ability to clearly present technical information and solve problems is essential.
- The ability to handle customer technical support cases through site visits. This includes helping customers diagnose technical issues over the phone and speaking with them about installing hardware or software on their computers.
