Job Description:
The Fuel Logistics Expert will oversee for the fuel transportation of fuel necessary for energy production. This role is crucial in ensuring a consistent and efficient fuel supply chain and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation Management: Manage logistics for the transportation of fuel from suppliers to energy production power plants to ensure timely and highest quality delivery service.
- Fuel Contracts: Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms for fuel transportations, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards
- Suppliers Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with fuel suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliability and quality of service.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce the transportation costs while maintaining service quality
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fuel logistics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fuel supply chains, transportation logistics, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience: Minimum [10] years of experience in logistics, supply chain management or a related field with a focus on fuel or energy production industries.
- Professional Certificates: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and distribution (CLTD) are advantageous.
