Your day to day
As Staff Relations Officer, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do!
Duties and Responsibilities
Staff Facilities Management:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of staff facilities, including the staff cafeteria and other common areas.
- Develop and implement facility improvement plans based on employee feedback.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors for facility maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct periodic inspection visits to the facilities to ensure compliance.
Support for Learning and Quality (L&Q):
- Collaborate with L&Q to identify training needs and develop training programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of training materials and presentations.
- Coordinate training schedules and logistics.
Support for Operations:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, report generation, and filing.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Manage employee records and maintain confidentiality.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
- Provide support for HR projects and initiatives.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns and resolve issues.
- Conduct employee relations investigations and provide recommendations.
- Provide counseling and support to employees on various HR matters.
- Manage employee disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Employee Well-being:
- Implement employee wellness programs and initiatives.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate employee assistance programs and resources.
- Promote “work-life balance” and stress management strategies.
General (Additional Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, filing, and recordkeeping.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate employee events and activities.
- Maintain employee files and records.
- Answer employee inquiries and provide general HR information.
- Support in completing the monthly department metrics.
Qualifications and Requirements
Required Skills
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Knowledge of Local Labour and Employment Regulations.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Good writing skills
Qualifications
Diploma in Human Resources, Training or Business Administration.
Experience
Fresh graduate or 0-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
