IT Administrator


The IT Administrator is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization's IT systems and networks. This role involves managing hardware, software, and network resources to ensure high availability and reliability. The IT Administrator also provides technical support to end-users, troubleshoots issues, and implements IT policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's data and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure software and hardware components
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Manage network servers and technology tools
  • Set up accounts and workstations
  • Perform regular system upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure network security
  • Train new system users and set up their accounts
  • Keep an inventory of all IT assets and ensure they are maintained properly
  • Develop technical documentation and manuals
