The Role of Civil / Structural Manager

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Civil / Structural Manager to contribute to the Soudah Development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a deep understanding of structural engineering principles, advanced analysis techniques, and a commitment to innovative, sustainable design.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for all structural engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Lead the development of structural solutions, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
• Oversee the design, review, and approval of structural engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Manage the structural engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of structural systems.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the structural engineering team.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 20 years of experience in a relevant civil or structural engineering role.
• A deep understanding of structural engineering principles and advanced analysis techniques is required.
