Key Responsibilities Perform manual hardfacing using oxy-acetylene, TIG, and brazing processes on new and worn parts Apply tungsten carbide-based hardfacing materials according to WPS,procedures and drawings. Prepare surfaces (cleaning, preheating, grinding) before and after hardfacing. Control deposit quality (thickness, hardness, appearance, absence of defects) Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area Collaborate with quality and production teams to meet customer specifications
Requirements Proven experience in manual hardfacing / overlay welding Strong skills in TIG welding and brazing Knowledge of hardfacing techniques with tungsten carbide or similar wear-resistant materials is a strong advantage Ability to read technical drawings Attention to detail and commitment to quality Willingness to work in a production environment with PPEFluent in English and able to communicate professionally in both writing and speaking.
