About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Operations Director to lead our Saudi Arabia operations based in Riyadh. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire warehousing, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain across the region. You will drive operational excellence, build a high-performing local team, and act as the key interface between the Saudi team and our headquarters in China, while ensuring full compliance with local regulations. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Operations Management Develop and execute the overall operational strategy for the Saudi region, continuously optimizing warehousing, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain processes to achieve a highly efficient and cost-effective operating model. Oversee all warehousing operations (including 4PL/3PL management, inventory control, and warehouse safety) and logistics operations (cross-border transportation, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery), ensuring service quality meets both company and client standards. Project Management Manage the full lifecycle of operation-related projects, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget control, ensuring project goals are aligned with the overall business strategy. Performance & Data Analytics Establish and continuously monitor operational KPI systems, conduct regular data analysis to identify improvement opportunities, and drive ongoing enhancements in operational efficiency and service quality. Team Leadership & Development Build and lead a high-performing operations team, nurture local management talent, and conduct regular operational meetings to foster collaboration and ensure goal alignment across the team. Stakeholder & Relationship Management Act as the primary operational interface for the Saudi region, coordinating efforts between the local team, headquarters, and other relevant internal departments. Manage key local client visits, relationship maintenance, and demand alignment, while cultivating long-term, stable partnerships with third-party service providers, government agencies, and other external stakeholders. Infrastructure & Setup Support Support the operational execution and implementation of warehouse construction, local office setup, and company registration initiatives in Saudi Arabia. Systems & Technology Ensure the effective utilization of core systems such as WMS and TMS to enhance operational visibility and controllability. Compliance & Safety Ensure all operational activities strictly comply with Saudi local laws, regulations, transportation standards, and safety requirements. Qualifications Education:Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CLTD) are a strong plus. Experience:Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with at least 5 years in a team leadership/management role. Proven experience in large-scale warehousing and logistics operations, with a solid understanding of 4PL/3PL models and cross-border supply chain processes. Experience in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred. Technical Skills:Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and data analysis tools. Strong data-driven decision-making capability. Soft Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills, with the ability to efficiently coordinate internal and external resources. Strong resilience under pressure, adaptable to a fast-paced, multitasking environment, and capable of flexible working hours. Language:Fluent in English (mandatory). Arabic language skills are a strong advantage. Additional Information This role is based in Riyadh and requires full-time onsite presence. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Saudi Arabia or be willing to relocate (sponsorship may be discussed for the right candidate).
