Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced IBM API Connect & DataPower Developer to design, develop, and manage API solutions using IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower Gateway. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API management, security implementation, and enterprise integration projects.

Design, develop, and deploy APIs using IBM API Connect.

Configure and manage IBM DataPower Gateway services.

Implement API security policies, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.

Develop RESTful and SOAP web services.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.

Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.

Participate in system testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Ensure compliance with enterprise integration and security standards.

Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Connect.

Strong experience with IBM DataPower Gateway.

Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, and XSLT.

Knowledge of API security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API Key authentication.

Experience with API lifecycle management.

Understanding of integration architecture and middleware concepts.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Connect.

Strong experience with IBM DataPower Gateway.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise Integration projects.
• IBM certifications related to API Connect or DataPower.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
