Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and monitor multi-disciplinary engineering design teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless delivery of comprehensive engineering packages.
Define project scope, develop detailed delivery schedules, and monitor progress against critical paths to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, cost estimation, forecasting, and tracking cash flow against milestones.
Act as the primary focal point for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, leading regular design reviews and managing change orders effectively.
Identify technical and commercial risks early in the design cycle and execute proactive strategies to protect project timelines and margins.
Ensure all engineering designs and project delivery methods strictly adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in engineering project management or design management, preferably within an engineering consultancy, infrastructure, or complex energy sector environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline) from an accredited university.
- Mandatory membership/registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). A Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of standard multi-disciplinary engineering design workflows, technical documentation cycles, and modern digital engineering platforms (e.g., BIM or CAD systems).
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities, with a proven track record of managing diverse, multi-cultural engineering teams.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Professional proficiency in Arabic is considered a significant asset.
