Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain project HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) management systems in compliance with company and local regulations
- Lead HSE planning and execution for petrochemical or wastewater treatment projects
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabia HSE regulations, client requirements, and international standards
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification (HAZID/HAZOP), and implement mitigation measures
- Monitor site safety performance and enforce corrective actions where necessary
- Organize and lead safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters
- Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to project management and stakeholders
- Lead and manage the HSE team on site
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 6–15 years of relevant experience in HSE management within petrochemical or wastewater treatment projects
- Proven experience in EPC project environments, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
- Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and practices (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- Familiar with Saudi regulations and industry safety requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly preferred.
