The Job Summary The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing and coordinating sales operations in the assigned branch; crafting and executing winning sales strategies that drive meteoric revenue growth and ensuring exceptional customer service; and playing a pivotal role in achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Sr #Technical / Job-Specific Competencies1Branch Sales Operation Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned branch, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all aspects that include meticulous management of administrative tasks, inventory control measures, and proactive facilities maintenance, creating an environment conducive to peak performance. Assume the role of financial steward, monitoring and managing branch expenses, budgets, and overall financial performance with a discerning eye while reporting the finance related issues to GM Finance. Develop and manage branch sales budgets, expenses, and resources with the precision of a maestro. Uphold the highest standards of financial responsibility by ensuring adherence to Nissan policies and financial guidelines, maximizing profitability and contributing to the company's financial success. Become the architect of the branch's success by developing comprehensive business plans, goals, and objectives. Meticulously tailor strategies in accordance to the specific branch's needs while remaining seamlessly aligned with the broader strategic objectives of the entire company. Become a product expert, showcasing Nissan cars and vehicles through engaging test drives, clear explanations of technical details, and navigating specific legal requirements. Manage sales staff commission sheets and payroll, fostering a motivated sales force. Actively participate in the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of the branch's automotive sales team providing comprehensive training programs and closely monitoring their performance.2Profitability & Operational Excellence Develop and implement winning sales strategies, meticulously aligning them with the branch's revenue targets. Orchestrate a symphony of sales activity, ensuring the sales team consistently surpasses expectations ensuring achievement of the targeted profitability. Spearhead sales activities, becoming a relentless prospector who identifies and cultivates new sales leads. Expand the branch's reach and fuel the sales pipeline. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to uncover hidden opportunities for sales growth and market expansion and leverage this knowledge to gain a competitive advantage. Revolutionize operational processes and workflows within the branch. Eliminate inefficiencies and streamline procedures to improve overall productivity, maximizing the branch's output and profitability. Identify market trends, potential opportunities, and threats lurking on the horizon. Proactively adapt the sales strategies to navigate the market landscape. Guide the sales team in establishing both realistic and ambitious monthly sales targets while providing support and motivation throughout the deal closure and approval process, ensuring each sale contributes to surpassing targets. Anticipate sales and expense goals both monthly and annually and prepare a comprehensive departmental operating budget that sets the financial foundation for the branch's success.3KPIs and Performance Attribution Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) with the vigilance of a samurai. When deviations arise, become the strategist, implementing corrective actions with precision to achieve optimal sales results. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and pain points within the sales operations cycle. Hire, train, and closely monitor the performance of automotive sales employees. Process and monitor commission sheets and payroll, ensuring fair compensation and a motivated sales force.4Customer Relationship Management Develop and maintain high level customer relationships through regular interactions and communications. Tailor solutions to each customer's unique situation and preferences and guide them through financing and purchase options, ensuring a smooth and informed decision-making process. Ensure the showroom gleams by meticulously maintaining the displayed cars, keeping them in pristine condition for every customer encounter. Become the voice of the customer, actively monitoring feedback and satisfaction metrics related to after-sales technical support services. Deliver exceptional customer service by attentively addressing inquiries, resolving any complaints with finesse, and maintaining a consistently high level of customer satisfaction while ensuring CSI (customer satisfaction index).
