Job Purpose To develop, maintain, and manage technical specifications that support engineering, procurement, and operational functions, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. Job Responsibilities Specification Creation: Develop detailed technical specifications for materials, equipment, and services based on project and operational requirements. Document Review: Review engineering drawings, vendor documents, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with specifications. Standardization Support: Assist in standardizing specifications across departments to improve consistency and reduce duplication. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to gather input and validate specification requirements. Compliance Assurance: Ensure specifications meet applicable codes, standards, and regulatory guidelines. Specification Updates: Regularly update specifications to reflect changes in technology, standards, and business needs. Database Maintenance: Maintain a centralized repository of specifications with proper version control and accessibility. Education Engineering or equivalent with experience with relevant field Experience Minimum five years of experience in specification development. Language Fluency in Arabic and English.
