Dar is seeking experienced and talented Senior Electrical Engineers with proven PMC expertise and strong design background to join its distinguished Engineering team.

Support the design and development of electrical systems for major infrastructure and building projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to confirm alignment with project requirements. Ensure assigned tasks are delivered within project timelines, budgets, and quality frameworks.
Job Summary: The Cost Control Specialist in Maintenance & Operations is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling costs associated with maintenance activities and operational projects. The role ensures that maintenance budgets are adhered to, expenditures are optimized, and financial reporting is accurate. The ideal candidate combines analytical skills with operational knowledge to support effective decision-making and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor and track maintenance and operational expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets. Prepare regular cost reports, variance analysis, and forecasts for management review. Analyze cost trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement. Collaborate with the maintenance, procurement, and operations teams to validate expenditure and approve spending. Review invoices, purchase orders, and contracts related to maintenance operations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance costs, labor hours, materials, and equipment usage. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cost estimates for maintenance projects. Support management in decision-making by providing detailed financial insights and recommendations. Implement cost control procedures and best practices to optimize resource utilization. Ensure compliance with company policies, financial standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience in cost control, accounting, finance, or budgeting, preferably in maintenance or operations. Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of maintenance operations, equipment, and facility management is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
