Job Summary As a Quality Engineer, will be responsible for supervising the work of a number of teams. They should have enough technical expertise in the area, and knowledge of Quality policies & procedures to be able to provide advice and guidance on their particular specialization. Supervises or gives practical and ongoing guidance to more junior colleagues. Has experience at infrastructure projects and construction projects. Has capability to conduct inspections and close all MIR. MAR, WIR and PQ and audit the project.

Main Duties & Responsibilities- Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.- Checks cable laying and cable identification.- Performs all relevant loop checks.- Executes the inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.- Updates as built drawings.- Performs punch-listing operations.- Checks power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system.- Performs visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection.- Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance.- Calibrates safety valves.- Calibrates instruments.- Checks installation of instruments.- Performs tests functional instruments.- Performs test communication functionalities.- Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out.- Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, and check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections- Manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.- Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
Requirements Essential:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with approval from SCE.- Experience: 5 to 8 years proven experience in Quality Controlling, including hands-on experience with relevant on-site.- ISO 9001:2015, 45001:2015 lead auditor is a must.- Expert skills in Microsoft Office. Focus on Outlook, Word and Excel.- Experience in GCC is preferrable.- Area of Experience: experience in Infrastructure, Roads and Superstructure is a must.- Very good communication skills.- Proficient Quality awareness.- Strong Presentation skills.- excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective negotiation & detail-oriented skills.- Should be Fluent in Arabic and English language.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.
Desirable:- Experience of using ERP D 365 to fetch business information is an asset.- Having engineering background.- Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment is an asset.
