Job Summary The Head of Wholesale is responsible for leading and growing the wholesale business focused on telecom B2C channels. The role drives revenue growth through distributors, dealers, resellers, and retail partners, while ensuring competitive pricing, strong market coverage, and excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership Define and execute the wholesale for telecom strategy in line with company objectives. Lead and manage wholesale sales, channel management, and support teams. Set targets, budgets, and KPIs to ensure revenue growth and profitability. Wholesale & Channel Management Manage telecom wholesale channels (dealers, distributors, retailers, aggregators). Expand market reach by onboarding new partners and optimizing existing channels. Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, commissions, and SLAs. Monitor channel performance and take corrective actions as needed. Sales & Business Growth Drive volume growth across B2C telecom products (SIMs, bundles, devices, value-added services). Analyze market trends, competition, and customer demand. Launch and manage wholesale promotions in coordination with marketing teams. Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with network, operations, finance, and marketing teams. Ensure efficient forecasting, supply planning, and availability of products. Ensure compliance with telecom regulations and internal governance. Reporting & Performance Provide regular sales, revenue, and performance reports to senior management. Track margins, costs, and overall wholesale efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of experience in telecom wholesale. Proven experience managing large dealer/distributor networks. Strong negotiation, leadership, and commercial skills. Experience in telecom operators or large telecom distributors is highly preferred.
