Role Summary This is a senior, strategic sales role responsible for driving the commercial success of advanced port digitalisation and vessel traffic management solutions across the Middle East. The Product Sales Manager will lead high-value, complex sales engagements with port authorities, maritime organisations, and government entities, acting as both a commercial lead and technical advisor. The role focuses on selling VTS, VTMS, port management systems, and simulation solutions that improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of port and maritime operations. This position is ideal for a seasoned marine or port-technology sales professional who thrives in consultative, enterprise-level sales environments and is comfortable managing long sales cycles, tenders, and strategic customer relationships.
Responsibilities Drive product sales strategy and order intake for ports and vessel traffic management solutions Act as the subject-matter expert for VTS, VTMS, PMIS, and simulation solutions Lead capture, bid, and tender teams from opportunity to contract award Review and align technical and commercial requirements for customer proposals Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and solution briefings to port authorities and maritime stakeholders Support the creation of tender responses, pricing, and commercial proposals Manage key customer accounts throughout the project lifecycle Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities Provide market feedback to support product and solution development Work closely with delivery, product, advisory, and marketing teams to ensure successful execution Requirements MSc or equivalent qualification Proven sales track record within the marine, port, or maritime technology sector Strong knowledge of VTS, VTMS, PMIS, port systems, or maritime digital solutions Solid understanding of port operations and customer requirements Experience managing tenders, bids, and complex solution sales Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, government entities, and port authorities Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strategic mindset with a strong commercial and performance-driven approach High ownership, accountability, and ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments Benefits In addition to a competitive salary, the role offers a comprehensive benefits package including:Housing allowance Transport allowance Education allowance for dependents Medical insurance Performance-based incentive scheme Flexible working hours
