ResponsibilitiesOur newest opportunity is for a Land Surveyor , Riyadh, KSA. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for providing accurate surveying services during the early earthworks phase of a major construction project in Riyadh. The role involves setting out, verification, and monitoring of earthworks activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and project requirements. The Land Surveyor will work closely with the consultant’s engineering and construction supervision teams to support safe, efficient, and accurate site operations.
We envisage success in this role to include:
Establishing and maintain horizontal and vertical control points, benchmarks, and survey networks for the project.
Carrying out setting out for earthworks activities including cut and fill, grading, excavation limits, and temporary works.
Verifying contractor survey data, earthwork quantities, and as-built surveys for accuracy and compliance.
Monitoring ground levels, slopes, and formations to ensure works align with approved drawings and specifications.
Conducting topographic surveys, volume calculations, and progress measurements for reporting purposes.
Coordinating with design, geotechnical, and construction teams to resolve survey-related issues on site.
Ensuring survey equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used in accordance with best practices.
Preparing survey reports, records, and documentation for consultant and client review.
Ensuring compliance with project HSE requirements and local regulations during all survey activities.
Supporting resolution of discrepancies between design and site conditions during early works.
QualificationsTo be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field.
IMPORTANT - Citizens of KSA will be considered as a priority for this role as part of the Kingdom's Nationalisation requirements.
