About the roles

This posting covers multiple functions: FOCAL, OSOS and Solutions. Each function has a slightly different focus, but all roles share the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI and data science solutions and contribute to real-world impact.

OSOS – Data Scientist:

• Focus: Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), pretraining and fine-tuning models.
• Requirements: Strong Python/NLP skills, Arabic language proficiency, understanding of machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
• Responsibilities include model development, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

FOCAL – Data Scientist:

• Focus: Data-driven insights, statistical modeling, machine learning for strategic decision-making.
• Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, proficiency in Python/R/SQL, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Responsibilities: include working with leadership and engineering teams to drive product and business insights.

Solutions – Data Scientist

• Focus: Data analysis, operational deployment of ML solutions, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, programming in Python/R/Julia/SQL, knowledge of cloud computing.
• Responsibilities: include data preprocessing, quality control, communicating technical results, and supporting product solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for AI, data science, and product impact
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate insights effectively
