About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join our Riyadh-based team, driving accurate cost estimation and contract management across large-scale construction projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation in quantity take-offs and AutoCAD, combined with exceptional negotiation skills to secure optimal contract terms.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings using AutoCAD
Develop and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
Negotiate changes, variations, and claims with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Monitor project costs and prepare regular budget reports and forecasts
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to control expenses
Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies
Conduct risk assessments and recommend cost-saving measures
Skills
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction projects
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
Proven expertise in cost estimation and quantity take-off methodologies
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for measurement and drawing interpretation
Strong contract negotiation skills with a track record of favorable outcomes
In-depth knowledge of Saudi building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, CIOB)
Experience with ERP or project management software (SAP, Primavera)
Fluency in Arabic and English for effective client and team communication
Background in risk management and cost control tools
Experience on mega-projects or government contracts in the Gulf region
