Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our dynamic engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist senior engineers with concept development, CAD modeling, and prototype testing.
  • Support design calculations, tolerances, and material selection for mechanical components.
  • Participate in performance analysis, thermal management, and stress/deflection studies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical drawings, bills of materials, and project documentation.
  • Help plan and execute testing campaigns, collect data, and document results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, production, and procurement, to meet project milestones.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement cost-reduction opportunities where applicable.
  • Stay updated with industry standards and best practices relevant to mechanical design and manufacturing.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; internship must be part of academic requirements or approved by the university.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience or prior internship in mechanical design, analysis, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and basic knowledge of finite element analysis is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, manage time, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
