React Native Developer (Expo) About the Role We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer with strong experience in Expo to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both i OS and Android platforms using React Native and the Expo ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Expo Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices Implement responsive UI components that work seamlessly across different device sizes and platforms Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into mobile applications Optimize application performance and ensure smooth user interactions Debug and resolve technical issues across i OS and Android platforms Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Stay current with the latest React Native, Expo, and mobile development trends Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Required Qualifications2+ years of professional experience in mobile app development with React Native Strong proficiency with Expo SDK and Expo Application Services (EAS) Solid understanding of Java Script/Type Script and modern ES6+ features Experience with React hooks, context API, and state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, or similar) Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming Experience with version control systems (Git) Understanding of the mobile app deployment process for i OS App Store and Google Play Store Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Expo Router or React Navigation Knowledge of native modules and custom native code integration Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Native Testing Library) Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications Understanding of mobile app security best practices Experience with push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting tools Knowledge of Graph QL and modern backend technologies Contributions to open-source projects or a strong Git Hub portfolio Experience with animations using Reanimated or similar libraries
