Job Description: Security Resident Engineer Location: Saudi Arabia
About the role:We are looking for an experienced Security Resident Engineer to provide on-site, expert-level support to our client. You will be responsible for enhancing their security posture and protecting their network infrastructure from threats. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities:Develop, review, and implement robust security frameworks for network systems. Monitor for security threats and respond to incidents to minimize impact and ensure swift recovery. Manage firewall rules, access controls, and perform regular security posture reviews. Ensure full compliance with NCA (National Cybersecurity Authority) or other corporate security frameworks. Collaborate with the Network Resident Engineer and other IT staff to maintain a secure and reliable network environment.
Qualifications:Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a network security role. Mandatory Certification: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or equivalent. Preferred Certifications: Fortinet NSE 4/5, OCI Foundation. Proven experience in managing and configuring security devices like firewalls and intrusion prevention systems. Strong understanding of threat intelligence, incident response, and forensic analysis. Knowledge of and experience with NCA or other relevant security frameworks. Proficiency with security tools and monitoring systems.
