Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Sustainability Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our sustainability initiatives, particularly in investment practices, risk management, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Sustainability Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with business goals.

Investment Analysis: Assess the sustainability performance of investment opportunities and provide recommendations based on environmental, social, and governance criteria.

Reporting: Prepare and manage sustainability reports in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and integrate them into financial decision-making processes.

Risk Management: Identify and evaluate sustainability-related risks and opportunities within the investment portfolio, advising on mitigation strategies.

Research and Analysis: Conduct research on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to inform investment strategies and corporate policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of [4] years of experience in sustainability, finance, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting standards, and investment analysis.

Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.

Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to convey sustainability concepts to diverse audiences.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sustainability reporting software.
