MAIN PURPOSE
To manage the day-to-day logistics tasks and liaising with the Richemont Subsidiaries for the inbound & outbound shipments and handle the relevant functions in comply with company’s and local policies for special imports in addition to the domestic distribution activities.
Import Operations
- To validate the shipping docs in accordance with the customs regulations
- To get the needed approvals from customs, DGR shipments, SC Certificates, CITES, SABER exemptions, SFDA, etc.
- To control and track shipments from origin till final delivery, all while managing the needed approvals and communications with all involved parties.
- To coordinate with the appointed customs clearance agents upon arrival of the shipments
- To claim the reported discrepancies with the origin, clearance agents and insurance company as per the company’s regulations
- To follow up and coordinate with finance department on duties payment in timely manner and deposit refund
- Data entry and tracking on the relevant applications used by the group & the department.
EXTERNAL OPS & LOCAL DISTRIBUTION
- To control and track CAPEX shipments from origin till final delivery, all while managing the needed approvals and communications with all involved parties & external vendors.
- To manage the external Warehouses under the control of Richemont Saudi Arabia Logistics team.
Local Transfers
- To coordinate with the Security Transportation for all goods movement including the inbound and outbound shipments
- To coordinate and monitor the goods movement between the boutiques and workshop Center in alignment with the group policy and transportation directives
- Handle the goods transfers between the cities (RUH, JED & DMM) thru a proper shipping mode (land, domestic airfreight or courier)
SPECIAL SHIPMENTS HANDLING
- To coordinate with the relevant authorities & 3rd parties in attaining the required approvals for Cites Shipments, Fragrance Shipments, etc.
- Maintain a proper tracking and data entry in the group ERP software and approved tracking methods while providing regular reporting
Logistics Function Governance
- Work with Compliance & LOG OPS to draft and update existing SOPs related to the market for all supply chain activities
- Ensure fulfilment of all Internal Audit requirements related to the Logistics Department
- Maintain, update, & control the KPIs of all Logistics external Vendors on a regular basis
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree/ high diploma in Business administration, Supply Chain, or other operational relevant field
Technical/Work-based Skills Or Specific Knowledge (Must Have)
English fluency in speaking & writing
Arabic is a plus
Computer Skills And Knowledge Of MS Software
Knowledge of local customs regulations
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Experience
1-2 years in such position or other operational field
