Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Create and execute an HSE strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies and senior management.
- Risk Management:
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Program Management:
- Training: Develop and deliver HSE training programs to ensure that employees are knowledgeable about safety practices, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness for potential incidents.
- Safety Culture:
- Culture Promotion: Foster a positive safety culture by promoting awareness, engagement, and accountability among employees.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication of HSE policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the organization.
- Environmental Management:
- Sustainability: Develop and implement environmental management programs to promote sustainability and reduce the organization’s environmental impact.
