Eram Talent is currently seeking a Material Advisor to join their team in the Oil & Energy industry. As Material Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the material supply chain and logistics for various projects related to the Oil & Energy industry. You will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of all materials, as well as oversee inventory management, supplier relationship management, and communication with cross-functional teams.
Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and has material procurement experience on large projects. Provides technical support as required and assists in the preparation of the material procurement plan. Identifies, reviews, and monitors priority, long lead, and other required material, and ensures the proper coordination with other project disciplines to meet all procurement milestone dates. Must have thorough knowledge of procurement/materials practices, economic principles, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.

Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate material delivery for all projects related to the Oil & Energy industry
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimal
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high quality of materials and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Develop and implement material management strategies that streamline operations and increase efficiency
- Identify potential risks to the material supply chain and develop mitigation plans
- Monitor and analyze material costs to identify cost-saving opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 9 years of experience in material management, preferably in the Oil & Energy industry
- Fully familiar on procurement requirements such as Material requisition, PO placement, material expediting and delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve complex material supply chain issues
- Fully familiar on SAP applications and MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power point and Access) in addition to planning and communication skills
- Full knowledge of MTO development, Procurement plans and Spare Part Data Packages
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other relevant software
