Job Purpose: The Senior Manager, Guest Experience Strategy will lead the creative vision, strategy, and delivery of multiple experiences, while maximizing potential and growth of our subsidiary operator brands, stringing together Watersports and Adventure activities with cultural to educational experiences and more. The Senior Manager will understand the needs of each destination’s partners their guests and customers, and translate those needs into clear, actionable, creative strategies and guest itineraries. The role requires the definition of the conceptual direction of visitor experiences, through to proof of concept, execution and growth strategies whilst collaborating across disciplines to ensure the delivery of compelling guest experiences. The Senior Manager will be a visible leader in the creation of an inspirational culture, one that is built around the celebration of creativity, customer-centricity, accessibility, and diversity. Job Responsibilities: Job Highlights: The position is focused on maximizing the experience offering for guests, visitors, and partners of Red Sea Global portfolio projects. Understanding the commercial and operational implications of final experience itineraries and ensuring each is unique and dedicated to the property or project positioning. Ensuring that the experiences offered showcase the destination(s) and the Group level commitment to people and planet whilst allowing our guests to participate in this promise. Supporting the brands of Akun, Galaxea, WAMA and Iyana on the growth and evolution of experiences, program and destination campaigns from land to sea, environmental through to cultural. Working with hotel partners to ensure each guest experience itinerary has been tailored for their guests and can evolve as the destination(s) grow and expand. Roles and Responsibilities: Understand Destination Experience Capability Including research/ fact finding, benchmarking on offerings in similar locations/markets and understanding the unique positioning of hotel brands and what they offer in their other locations and markets. Understanding the experiences that have 1) already been established by the three experience brands and 2) where they can be elevated further Identifying global experiential trends and adapting the experience menu where required The position will work to produce multiple offerings/price points/ tailor made experiences all inspired by customer insight and guest understanding. Hotel Liaison for Experiences The position will work closely with the hotel brands and the on-site/in-property teams to identify which experiences may be offered on an exclusive basis per hotel and represent their brand identity. Identifying experiences that are exclusive to the hotel due to brand fit or to location of hotel Acting as a key point of contact, at Group level, with the hotels on all elements related to experiences Identifying which experiences should remain available to all hotels Working with the Asset Management team to develop commercials with hotels to secure exclusivity and operational overheads. Operational Considerations Establishing a project pathway for the experiences offering Identifying what experiences can and should run all year round versus seasonal adapting/enhancing or improving experience menu after each quarter based on guest feedback and staff feedback. Identifying experiences rollout for year 1 – year 3 as well as a culture of continuous evolution and improvement. Cross Collaboration Working with the Events team to plan and establish any annual experience offerings – for example sporting events, art events, adventure events, festivals. Working with the Strategic partnerships team to design and facilitate special VIP groups and provide innovate and wow factor experiential offerings Including FAM trips, press groups/ travel industry groups Strategic partnership groups Supporting the destination marketing team on showcasing the destination offering and evolution of experiences. Identify and developing required collateral for an experience menu – content capture and creation, shoot photography and description that can be used across multi-media. Working with the accessibility team to identify specialist guest itineraries that cater to specific and all customer groups accordingly. Financial Identifying what production elements are required to fulfil and specific and/or unique elements that any ‘white labelled’ experiences may require and provide budget. Providing a sales pipeline of expected revenue from enhanced experiences Weekly monitoring experience booking patterns and analyzing commercials throughout launch phase/ and adapting experience offering/staffing/hotel agreements accordingly to maximize on profitability. Other Role Responsibilities Calculating the cancellation policy for the activity/ weather (including hotel feedback)Working on maximizing the accessibility of the experiences offered. Support the operation team on the guest journey mapping for these experiences Establishing and selling a vision and a strong point of view during the new business process as well as throughout partner engagements, excting and inspiring all relevant parties with regards the overarching guest experience strategy. Building strong relationships with partners through honesty and transparency Using data, best practices, and intuition to create compelling strategies Identifying opportunity areas and driving change and improvements within the RSSE subsidiary brands. Driving an inclusive and respectful environment internally and in client and partner interactions. Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards. Safety, Quality & Environment Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. Continuous Improvement Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. Job Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: BA Hons. in a creative and/or management administration degree. Skills: Solid communication, collaboration and creative skills required. IT skills across Microsoft and other design programs.
