Sales manager - automotive industry

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in the automotive industry. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving sales growth in the highly competitive automotive market. This role requires a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives. Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealerships, and other stakeholders in the automotive industry. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and maximize sales effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new products, and emerging technologies to remain competitive in the market. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities. Preferred Candidate: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze sales data and generate meaningful insights. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Knowledge of the automotive industry, including market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
