• Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.
• Effective management of vendor database
• Collection of material requirement from projects including its technical specification and expected delivery schedule as per project plan
• Procurement of raw material from national and international market.
• Collation of information from all the offers w.r.t technical & commercial details
• Review of offers w.r.t the contract drawings and specifications to ensure technical compliance as per project requirement.
• Co-ordination with Procurement Manager during offer evaluation process including preparation of Comparison statement
• Negotiation with the vendors & releasing the Purchase orders.
• Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.
• Ensuring preparation & timely submission of all Materials submittal
• Follow up with projects site for approval
• Co-ordination with vendors for all technical information required for the project
• Ensure all purchases are done on timely basis and are relevant to the requirement of the departments
• Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials
• Arranges internal transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Organize proper filing system and maintenance of records
