Job Title: Business Development Specialist – Environmental Services Job Overview: Ain Khabeer is seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Specialist with strong research and analytical skills to contribute to the growth of the company’s business in the environmental consulting sector in the Kingdom. The role focuses primarily on identifying potential opportunities and projects, conducting market research, tracking new projects, and monitoring client demand for environmental services, particularly in the fields of environmental permits, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies, and environmental compliance. Tasks and Responsibilities: Continuously search for potential projects and opportunities in the Saudi market. Track government and private projects, real estate developers, consultants, contractors, and bidding platforms. Identify projects that may require: Environmental Impact Assessment studies, environmental permits, environmental studies or management plans, or environmental compliance, auditing, or monitoring services. Identify opportunities at the early stages of projects and before official tenders are issued whenever possible. Conduct market research and analyze target sectors, trends, and new opportunities. Identify potential clients, decision-makers, and relevant stakeholders. Monitor competitors, their projects, services, and market movements. Prepare clear summaries and evaluations of identified opportunities and provide recommendations accordingly. Continuously update the opportunity and client database and the CRM system. Support business development activities and communicate with clients. Contribute to the preparation of pre-qualification files and technical and commercial proposals when needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an environmental, engineering, business administration, marketing, or a related field. 1 to 4 years of experience in business development, market research, environmental consulting, or a related field is preferred. Good knowledge of the Saudi market, projects, and key sectors. Knowledge of environmental permits, EIA studies, and the requirements of environmental regulatory bodies in the Kingdom is a significant advantage. Proficiency in Arabic and English. Strong research, analytical, and reporting skills. Good communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and research and verify information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is preferred. Required Skills and Attributes: Proactivity and not relying solely on announced opportunities.
