We’re a growing events startup in Saudi Arabia and we’re hiring a Head of Event Sales to lead revenue growth from the front. This role owns event sales strategy, event client acquisition, deal closure, and team building. You’ll be hands-on with key clients while building and managing a high-performing event sales team.
This is a senior role for someone who understands the Saudi market, has a strong event + production background, and knows how to sell complex event solutions—not just packages.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Leadership Own and deliver sales targets across event and event-production projects Lead high-value client meetings, presentations, and negotiations Personally close key and strategic deals Oversee the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing Ensure pricing, margins, and scopes align with company profitability goals
Market & Client Development Leverage Saudi market knowledge, networks, and relationships to drive new business Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders Identify new opportunities within the events, experiential, and production space Represent the company in industry meetings, pitches, and client-facing forums
Team Building & Management Build, lead, and scale the event sales department Manage and mentor event sales / account managers (including the existing event sales account manager role) Set clear targets, KPIs, and accountability for the team Coach the team on consultative selling, solution-based proposals, and client management
Strategy & Operations Alignment Develop and improve sales processes, pipelines, and reporting Work closely with operations, production, and creative teams to ensure feasibility and delivery Forecast revenue and maintain accurate pipeline visibility Contribute to company growth strategy as part of the leadership team
Required Experience & Background Proven experience in event sales within Saudi Arabia Strong background in events, event production, or experiential marketing Demonstrated success in closing high-value deals Experience managing and growing a sales team Deep understanding of the Saudi market, clients, and business culture Comfortable working in a startup or fast-growing environment Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
