We Are Hiring: Senior Accountant – Finance Department
Our client, a leading media company based in Riyadh, is seeking a Senior Accountant with Big 4 accounting experience to join their Finance Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to manage financial records, analyze data, and support strategic financial decisions.
Main Responsibilities:Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Job Requirements:BA degree in accounting, finance or equivalent. Experience working in a Big 4 firm is mandatory. CMA, CFA, IFRS or equivalent is an advantage.8+ years of experience. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Experience with general ledger functions. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Ability to work with little to no supervision. Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
