Position Title: Construction Project Manager - Aviation Industry Department: Project Management Office (PMO) Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview The Project Data Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the collection, validation, management, and analysis of project-related data across programs and portfolios. The role ensures accurate, timely, and actionable project information is available to support strategic decision-making, portfolio monitoring, and effective project delivery. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support management decisions. Monitor project, program, and portfolio performance using appropriate KPIs, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to maintain objectives on track. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual presentations for management and stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and metrics to assess business and project performance. Maintain and update centralized project databases, ensuring accuracy of schedules, budgets, and progress information. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend data-driven solutions. Ensure monitoring and control tools and techniques are updated, effective, and aligned with portfolio objectives. Evaluate budgeting processes, monitor cost tracking, and assess project cash flow; analyze underperformance and recommend mitigation strategies. Stay updated on the latest tools and technologies for monitoring and controlling engineering and construction projects. Maintain engagement with stakeholders to collect project data and ensure reporting effectiveness. Lead, train, and supervise data coordinators, analysts, and document controllers. Perform additional duties as directed by management to support PMO objectives. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Data Management, Project Management, or related field. Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in project data control, portfolio monitoring, or project management, preferably with medium to large-scale projects. Knowledge of portfolio and program management, project lifecycle, and data governance standards. Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel Advanced). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teams. PMP certification preferred. Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy and timeliness of project data and reports. Compliance with document control and monitoring standards.
