Documents Controller – Fit-Out Contracting Division (Saudi Arabia) Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Fit-Out Contracting / Interior Projects Immediate Hiring – Candidates must be currently based in Saudi Arabia About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documents Controller to support our fast-paced interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will ensure proper management, control, flow, and archiving of all project documentation while maintaining compliance with client requirements, project standards, and internal procedures. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, traceability, and smooth communication across engineering, project management, QA/QC, procurement, and site teams. Key Responsibilities• Manage and control all project documents including drawings, specifications, procedures, and method statements. • Ensure quality, accuracy, and proper formatting of all incoming and outgoing documents. • Manage workflows through the company’s EDMS system (Aconex / Procore / Share Point). • Maintain registers, logs, transmittals, and document distribution matrices. • Track revisions, monitor approval cycles, and maintain version control. • Submit documents for approval and distribute approved files to relevant teams. • Maintain organized filing systems, templates, and numbering structures. • Support project reporting, monthly documentation updates, and final handover dossiers. • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, QA/QC, procurement, and clients. • Issue weekly and monthly summary reports covering document status and compliance. • Ensure timely archiving, retention, and easy retrieval of project records. Skills & Qualifications• 8+ years experience as a Documents Controller in Fit-Out / Interior Contracting / Construction. • Strong knowledge of document workflows, submittals, shop drawings, and QA/QC documentation. • Hands-on experience with EDMS systems (Aconex preferred). • High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to manage large documentation volumes across multiple projects. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management tools. • Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia.
