Role Description The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all swimmers and visitors in the pool and surrounding areas at Fitness in Al Khobar. This full-time, on-site role includes constant monitoring of pool activities, enforcing safety rules, responding quickly and effectively to emergencies, and providing first aid or CPR when needed. The Lifeguard will conduct regular checks of pool equipment and water conditions, assist with opening and closing procedures, and help maintain a clean and organized pool deck. The role also involves engaging with members in a professional manner, answering questions about pool policies, and supporting swim programs or classes as required.

Qualifications

• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization and up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform water rescues and safety drills confidently.
• Knowledge of pool safety regulations, emergency response procedures, and basic water chemistry is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive under pressure.
• Attention to detail, reliability in maintaining vigilance, and commitment to creating a safe, respectful environment for all visitors.
• Previous experience in a pool, aquatic center, or recreational facility is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed, and to participate in ongoing training.
