Lead Warehouse & Shipping operations during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable execution of daily activities. Foster a culture where safety is the top priority by identifying risks, addressing unsafe conditions, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements. Monitor and assess workplace hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure Warehouse and Shipping areas remain organized, maintained, and compliant with established procedures and standards. Supervise, coach, and develop Warehouse and Shipping team members to improve capability, accountability, and overall performance. Provide training on safe glass handling practices, operating procedures, and work standards. Drive employee engagement by motivating and encouraging team members to achieve department objectives and key performance indicators. Ensure all tools, equipment, and work processes are safe and fit for use. Manage warehouse storage locations and maintain product location accuracy. Monitor inventory levels and warehouse supplies to ensure material availability and operational continuity. Conduct pre-shift inspections and ensure timely resolution of identified issues. Support the achievement of shipping targets through effective resource planning and execution. Monitor employee performance, provide timely feedback, and support development through coaching and training. Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance teams to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
