Job Duties

Distribute and direct workers according to the daily work plan.

Manage multiple sites and monitor work progress on-site.

Resolve operational issues on-site and escalate critical obstacles.

Arrange and prepare site needs for materials and tools before work begins.

Monitor equipment and labor availability to ensure uninterrupted work.

Ensure compliance with safety requirements for excavation works and the use of safety tools and equipment.

Verify that excavation sites are secured and proper warning signs and barriers are in place.

Monitor excavation, installation, backfilling, and site closure activities.

Track daily productivity and meet specified targets.

Monitor worker discipline and execution quality.

Coordinate with the engineer on technical matters and pathways.

Submit a daily report on achievements, obstacles, and requirements.

Travel between sites and drive as required by the job.

Requirements

Previous experience as a field monitor in civil works or excavation.

Ability to manage workers and equipment on-site.

Ability to resolve issues and meet daily targets.

Good knowledge of safety requirements for excavation works.

Proficient in driving with a valid driver’s license.

Preferred: Experience in connection works and ground services (water, gas, and electricity).
