Job Details

Supervise interior fit-out works for the renovation of a high-rise, five-star hotel. Ensure all interior works comply with approved drawings, specifications, hotel brand standards, and project quality requirements. Review interior shop drawings, material submittals, joinery details, cutting lists, stone dry-lay arrangements, samples, and mockups. Oversee the construction and approval of benchmark guestrooms and suites before mass production. Supervise bespoke joinery, millwork, decorative metalwork, stone finishes, acoustic panels, carpets, wall finishes, and decorative lighting. Monitor FF&E delivery, storage, protection, installation, and final condition. Coordinate interior works with architectural, structural, MEP, fire and life-safety systems. Ensure proper integration of air diffusers, sprinklers, access panels, lighting fixtures, switches, and other services into the interior design. Resolve dimensional differences between the existing building structure and new interior design elements. Inspect guestrooms, royal suites, lobbies, dining venues, prayer areas, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. Identify defective or non-compliant work and monitor the completion of corrective actions. Lead interior snagging, de-snagging, and final handover inspections. Coordinate with the client, hotel operator, design consultants, fit-out contractors, and FF&E suppliers. Monitor progress and report quality concerns, technical issues, and delays to the Project Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Valid Saudi Council of Engineers membership is mandatory.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in interior fit-out, interior design coordination, and construction supervision.
  • Proven experience delivering five-star hotels, luxury hospitality developments, or major hotel renovation projects.
  • Experience in high-rise refurbishment and brownfield projects is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of bespoke joinery, millwork, stone, decorative finishes, lighting, acoustic treatments, and FF&E installation.
  • Familiarity with international luxury hotel brand standards and operator requirements.
  • Knowledge of acoustic performance, fire-rated materials, and flame-retardant fabric requirements.
  • Previous experience working with an engineering consultancy or construction supervision consultant.
  • Strong ability to review shop drawings, materials, mockups, and technical submittals.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination, and relevant interior design software.
  • Experience in Madinah Central Area or similarly sensitive urban locations is preferred.
  • NCIDQ or an equivalent international interior design accreditation is preferred.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory; Arabic is preferred.
