Mandatory Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
• The candidate must be eligible for registration and professional accreditation with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) as a Civil / Structural Engineer.
• Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
Mandatory Structural Design, Revit & BIM Requirements
• Advanced structural design capability using Autodesk Revit Structure is mandatory.
• The candidate must be able to independently perform structural design using Autodesk Revit Structure, including preparation of:
• Strong practical BIM experience is mandatory, including:
• Candidates without strong practical experience in structural design using Autodesk Revit Structure and BIM will not be considered.
Mandatory Structural Analysis & Design Experience
Strong practical proficiency in:
• ETABS
• SAFE
• SAP2000
• Autodesk Revit Structure
• AutoCAD
• Navisworks is preferred.
The candidate must have strong experience in:
• Structural analysis and design of residential, commercial, and other building projects.
• Reinforced concrete design.
• Structural steel design.
• Foundation design, including:
Isolated Footings
Combined Footings
Raft Foundations
Pile Foundations
• Retaining walls.
• Slab systems, including:
Solid Slabs
Flat Slabs
Waffle Slabs
• Beam, column, wall, and core design.
• Load calculations:
Dead Loads
Live Loads
Wind Loads
Seismic Loads
• Seismic design and analysis.
• Wind load design and analysis.
• Punching shear checks.
• Deflection checks.
• Crack control.
• Drift checks.
• P-Delta analysis.
• Structural stability.
• Reinforcement detailing.
• Bar Bending Schedules.
• Structural calculations and design reports.
Codes & Standards
Strong practical knowledge of:
• Saudi Building Code (SBC)
• Saudi structural code requirements
• ACI Codes and Standards
• ASCE Standards
• AISC Standards where applicable
Mandatory Site Supervision Experience
• Strong site supervision experience is mandatory.
The candidate must be able to:
• Supervise structural and civil works on site.
• Inspect reinforced concrete and structural steel works.
• Review reinforcement and formwork before concrete casting.
• Review contractor submissions.

Mandatory Project Management Experience
• Strong practical project management experience is mandatory.
The candidate must have experience in:
• Project planning and scheduling.
• Progress monitoring.
• Coordination with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Cost control.
• Time control.
• Risk management.
• Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
• Project reporting.
• Managing multiple engineering projects.
• Multidisciplinary coordination.
• Managing projects from design stage through construction and handover.
Existing Buildings & Structural Rehabilitation
Experience in:
• Structural assessment of existing buildings.
• Structural defect identification.
• Structural rehabilitation.
• Strengthening and retrofitting.
• Structural repair solutions.
• Evaluation of cracks, deflections, and structural distress.
• FRP and steel strengthening methods where applicable.
Engineering Consultancy & Technical Review
Strong experience in:
• Engineering consultancy services.
• Structural design review.
• Reviewing structural calculations and reports.
• Reviewing technical specifications.
• Reviewing IFC, Shop Drawings, As-Built, RFIs, and Material Submittals.
• Coordinating structural design with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Resolving structural, architectural, and MEP conflicts before construction.
• Providing technically sound engineering solutions.
Quantity & Value Engineering
Experience in:
• Quantity Takeoff
• BOQ preparation and review
• Structural quantity review
• Technical specifications
• Cost optimization
• Value Engineering
• Evaluating alternative structural solutions to reduce cost while maintaining safety and quality.
Business Development
Ability to:
• Develop business opportunities.
• Build client relationships.
• Support project acquisition.
• Contribute to securing new engineering consultancy projects in the Saudi market.
• Communicate with government and private-sector clients, contractors, consultants, and developers.
Good knowledge of Saudi engineering consultancy procedures, municipalities, government authorities, contractors, developers, and project approval processes is preferred.

The candidate must be capable of working as a:
Structural Design Engineer + BIM Engineer + Site Supervision Engineer + Project Management Engineer
• Candidates with experience only in design, only in drafting/BIM, only in supervision, or only in project management will not be considered.
Job Offer
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Contract Duration: 3 years
• Salary: Approximately INR 5000–8000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Annual Salary Increase: 15%
