The purpose of the position

Design and develop intelligent dashboards and automated reports that support management in monitoring project performance, finance, health, safety, housing, and facilities. The role utilizes business intelligence and artificial intelligence tools to transform raw data into actionable insights, aiding in decision-making, performance monitoring, cost reduction, and enhancing operational efficiency within the infrastructure and contracting company.

Key Responsibilities

Developing dashboards and reports

• Design and build interactive dashboards for monitoring projects, finance, health, safety, and housing.
• Prepare automated and periodic reports for senior management and project managers.
• Develop clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Ensure timely and accurate data updates.

Data analysis and insights extraction

• Analyze project data, costs, timelines, and rates.
• Utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to discover patterns and anomalies.
• Provide predictive analytics and data-driven recommendations.
• Support management in understanding the causes of anomalies and suggest corrective actions.

Data management and system integration

• Collect, clean, and transform data from ERP systems, project management, accounting, and others.
• Build reliable data models that support reporting and dashboards.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across different systems.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and project teams for smooth data flow.

Decision support

• Provide analytical insights that assist in monitoring project performance and controlling costs.
• Support finance, project, management, health, and safety departments with tailored reports.
• Contribute to improving planning and forecasting processes.
• Train users on utilizing dashboards and reports.

Continuous improvement and innovation

• Propose enhancements to reports and dashboards continuously.
• Explore new tools and techniques in business intelligence and artificial intelligence.
• Automate repetitive reports to reduce manual effort.
• Document processes, models, and reports.

Compliance and data security

• Adhere to data protection and confidentiality policies.
• Ensure secure access to dashboards and reports.
• Support audit and compliance requirements related to data and reports.

Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in business intelligence or data analysis (such as Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent) preferred.

Experience

• Experience of at least 3–5 years in business intelligence or data analysis or management reporting.
• Experience in using BI tools (Power BI or Tableau or similar) is essential.
• Experience in the construction or infrastructure or contracting sector is preferred.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence or predictive analytics is a strong advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
• Advanced skills in Excel and SQL.
• Understanding of data models and building Data Models.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and machine learning and their applications in analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and project and financial data.
• Ability to visualize data effectively.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts is preferred.
