The Role of AV Technician

Accor is seeking an AV Technician to join its team in a full-time capacity. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality audio-visual services across a luxury resort environment. The AV Technician ensures all AV systems operate flawlessly for a range of events, including conferences, weddings, gala dinners, and live entertainment, while upholding the high standards of a five-star hospitality setting. Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional audio-visual equipment for various events such as meetings, conferences, weddings, and live entertainment.
• Operate sound, lighting, and video systems with precision during live events.
• Provide discreet and professional on-site technical support for VIP guests and high-profile events.
• Anticipate event requirements and proactively address audio-visual needs before and during functions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and effectively to minimize any disruption to guests.

Equipment Management and Technical Support

• Ensure optimal performance of all AV components, including microphones, speakers, mixers, lighting consoles, LED walls, projectors, and display screens.
• Maintain all audio-visual equipment to five-star standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Support AV systems in conference rooms, boardrooms, in-room setups, and resort-wide digital displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report any maintenance or replacement needs for equipment.

Collaboration and Compliance

• Collaborate closely with internal departments including Events, Banquets, Entertainment, and IT, as well as external vendors.
• Adhere strictly to resort brand standards, along with all health and safety regulations.
