About the Role

Saraqo, a sole proprietorship, announces its need for a Safety and Occupational Health Supervisor to join its team in Hafar al-Batin, Eastern Province. This role presents an opportunity to join a full-time team, where the holder of the position will be responsible for supervising the application of safety and occupational health standards within facilities.

Job Objective

This role aims to ensure a safe and healthy work environment by monitoring the implementation of all laws, regulations, and instructions related to safety and occupational health. This includes measuring environmental factors, investigating accidents and injuries, and preparing and documenting the necessary procedures and reports to promote a safety culture.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the application of laws, regulatory regulations, and instructions related to safety and occupational health in facilities.
  • Conducting various inspections at work sites, including routine inspections and emergency inspections.
  • Recording inspection results in dedicated logs and comparing them with approved standards.
  • Preparing and organizing materials for accident and occupational injury investigations, and conducting the investigation and documenting results.

Operational Tasks

  • Preparing equipment and devices for measuring environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, noise, and vibration.
  • Taking environmental measurements using specialized devices and documenting results in approved logs.
  • Monitoring risk mitigation from environmental factors in coordination with competent authorities.
  • Preparing safety and occupational health instructions and procedures, including safe work instructions and evacuation procedures.
  • Raising awareness among workers about approved instructions and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Preparing and distributing occupational safety and health guidance posters in appropriate locations.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Preparing and submitting periodic work reports and those related to inspection results, investigations, and environmental measurements.
  • Documenting and securely storing all records, reports, and safety and occupational health instructions in an orderly manner.

Role Requirements

This role requires the ability to apply regulations and standards accurately, and skill in using environmental measurement devices, in addition to the ability to investigate accidents effectively. The candidate must have excellent communication skills to educate workers and be able to prepare technical reports clearly and in an organized manner.
