Job Description
The Brand Protection Analyst is responsible for manually monitoring and identifying digital threats and unauthorized use of client brands across websites, search engines, social media platforms, mobile applications, marketplaces, and other digital channels.
The role focuses on identifying potential brand infringements, verifying and documenting incidents, submitting confirmed violations through the designated platform, and initiating the appropriate removal and enforcement procedures based on the type and nature of each violation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manual Digital Monitoring
Conduct daily manual searches for assigned client brands across the web and digital platforms.
Monitor social media platforms, websites, search engines, mobile applications, marketplaces, and domains.
Identify fake accounts, impersonation, phishing websites, counterfeit activities, unauthorized brand usage, and other digital threats.
Use brand names, keywords, usernames, domains, URLs, and other relevant search indicators.
2. Violation Verification
Review and validate identified incidents before submitting them.
Determine whether the activity represents a genuine brand infringement.
Collect supporting evidence such as screenshots, URLs, account details, domain information, and other relevant information.
Classify each violation according to its type, platform, severity, and required action.
3. Incident Registration
Register verified violations on the designated monitoring platform.
Ensure all incident information and supporting evidence are complete and accurate.
Avoid duplicate cases and maintain accurate incident records.
4. Takedown & Enforcement
Initiate the appropriate removal or enforcement procedure for each verified violation.
Submit reports to the relevant social media platforms, hosting providers, domain registrars, marketplaces, application stores, or other responsible parties.
Follow up on submitted requests until a resolution is reached.
Provide additional information or evidence when requested.
Escalate complex or sensitive cases when necessary.
5. Incident Follow-Up
Track the status of all submitted violations.
Verify whether reported content or accounts have been successfully removed.
Re-submit or escalate cases when required.
Monitor for repeated or reappearing violations.
Update the status and actions taken for every incident.
6. Reporting
Maintain daily records of monitoring activities.
Document identified violations and actions taken.
Prepare periodic reports covering identified, submitted, removed, pending, and escalated incidents.
Highlight recurring threats and suspicious patterns.

Search → Identify → Verify → Collect Evidence → Register → Submit Takedown → Follow Up → Verify Removal → Close / Escalate
Required Skills
Strong web research and online investigation skills.
Good understanding of social media platforms and digital channels.
Ability to identify impersonation, phishing, counterfeit activity, and unauthorized brand usage.
Strong attention to detail.
Good documentation and evidence-collection skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks.
Good written communication skills.
Basic understanding of digital security and online abuse is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in Brand Protection, Digital Risk Protection, Cybersecurity, Trust & Safety, Fraud Prevention, OSINT, or a related field.
Experience with social media monitoring.
Experience handling takedown or abuse reports.
Familiarity with social media platforms, domain registrars, hosting providers, marketplaces, and app stores.

Role Objective
The main objective of the Brand Protection Analyst is to proactively identify, verify, document, and take action against digital threats targeting client brands, while ensuring that each verified violation is properly registered, followed up, and resolved through the appropriate enforcement process.
