Overview of the Role

The SAP HCM Payroll Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting payroll solutions. This role focuses on SAP HCM Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), working closely with business stakeholders to ensure optimized, compliant, and scalable payroll processes. The consultant will manage end-to-end payroll lifecycle activities within a professional IT services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support SAP HCM Payroll and SuccessFactors ECP solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver optimized, compliant, and scalable payroll processes.
• Manage end-to-end payroll lifecycle activities.
• Analyze complex payroll issues and propose effective solutions.
• Debug payroll runs and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle year-end activities and statutory reporting.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scripts.

Required Experience and Knowledge

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP Payroll (SAP HCM / SuccessFactors ECP).
• Experience in support and enhancement projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM Payroll / SAP ECP.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes and gross-to-net calculations.
• Knowledge of country-specific payroll regulations and tax compliance.
• Exposure to global payroll or multi-country payroll is considered an advantage.

Technical Expertise

• Expertise in Payroll schemas and rules (PCRs).
• Proficiency in Wage type configuration.
• Experience with Payroll Control Center (PCC).
• Ability to debug payroll runs effectively.
• Strong documentation skills for functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scripts.

Work Type and Location

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The consultant will contribute to critical enterprise solutions for a diverse client base within a dynamic IT services environment.
