Overview of the Accountant Role

Nasmats Al-Sharq Logistics Services Company is looking for a Accountant to join its team in Al-Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time role requires 0-1 years of experience and aims to support the company’s financial operations by preparing accounting documents, tracking revenues and expenses, recording journal entries, and preparing periodic financial reports.

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant

The Accountant in this role handles a set of core responsibilities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records, including the following:

• Prepare, organize, and document disbursement documents, and follow up on their audit and approval for disbursement from the approved regulatory authorities.
• Monitor, document, and analyze revenues on a periodic basis.
• Audit financial claims and ensure their compliance with legal and financial conditions.
• Monitor current and capital expenditures in line with the monthly financial position of budget items.

Managing Financial Operations and Auditing

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records, through the following tasks:

• Prepare journal entries and record all financial transactions in dedicated ledgers.
• Audit bank accounts and prepare the necessary reconciliations with monthly statements.
• Prepare the financial position and monthly summaries to provide a clear view of the financial situation.

Reporting and Process Improvement

The Accountant also shoulders the responsibility of preparing periodic financial reports and contributing to the improvement of accounting procedures:

• Prepare documents and reports specialized in expense and revenue accounting and store them in the related database.
• Prepare and organize the annual company closing accounts.
• Develop accounting methods and procedures and keep pace with scientific and technological advancement in this field.

Qualifications and Experience Required

To hold this position, the candidate must have the following qualifications and experiences:

• Practical experience ranging from 0-1 year in accounting.
• Ability to prepare and organize financial documents accurately.
• Good skills in auditing accounts and preparing financial reconciliations.
