About the Role

Akkodis is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Dammam, KSA. This full-time role focuses on maintaining system reliability, designing and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines with GitLab. The successful candidate will apply software engineering skills to build, maintain, support, and optimize mission-critical, cloud-native systems and applications for our On-Demand Connectivity (ODC) and eUICC IoT Manager (eIM) products, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and performant.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
• Maintain and enhance robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Install, configure, and manage Kubernetes-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Take ownership of production systems, managing real-time system monitoring, observability, and incident response to meet strict SLA commitments.
• Act as a technical bridge between development, validation, and customer teams.
• Provide operational support through participation in 24/7 onsite shifts and contribute to high-impact Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation, customer acceptance plans, and operational readiness reviews to support continuous process improvement.
• Contribute to team growth through knowledge sharing, technical training, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in systems administration, solutions delivery, or integration engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with the support and operations of highly critical production systems.
• Understanding of ITSM processes, including incident management, change management, problem management, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, KSA. The role requires participation in 24/7 onsite shifts to ensure continuous operational support for critical systems.
