Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Khafji, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on contributing to significant projects within the region.

Overview of the Role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing critical engineering tasks and managing various aspects of construction and fabrication. This role requires a strong technical background and practical experience in major oil and gas or petrochemical projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct engineering tasks throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage construction and fabrication activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
• Apply specialized knowledge of industry standards, including but not limited to API and ASME.

Essential Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of overall experience.
• At least six (6) years of specific experience in Mechanical Engineering for major Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects.

Required Expertise and Skills

• Demonstrated strong expertise in EPC project lifecycles.
• Proven experience in offshore construction and offshore projects.
• Experience with project commissioning, operation, and start-up phases.
• Previous experience with ARAMCO projects is considered an advantage.
