Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Diagnose electrical faults and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues. Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations. Test electrical systems and components using specialized tools and equipment. Replace defective electrical components and wiring. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment. Ensure a safe working environment by following health and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of work completed, inspections, and maintenance activities. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in electrical work is preferred.
- Valid electrician license or certification (where required).
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift heavy equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
