Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering or related field.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and coordinating daily production activities in the fabrication/fencing workshop.
Monitor fabrication processes to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
Coordinate with production supervisors, welders, fabricators, and quality inspectors.
Ensure the proper utilization of materials, manpower, and machinery.
Monitor welding, cutting, drilling, bending, and assembly operations.
Prepare daily production reports and maintain production records.
Identify production issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Desired Candidate Profile
2-5 years of experience in a fabrication, steel structure, metal works, or fencing manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, sheet metal, and structural steel works.
Ability to read fabrication drawings and production plans.
Familiarity with production planning and quality control procedures.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
Preferred Experience:
Chain-link fencing, palisade fencing, wire mesh fencing, perimeter security systems, gates, or general metal fabrication.
Exposure to CNC cutting, laser cutting, bending, or welding operations is an added advantage.
